WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?

Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline that centers on the role of the spine and central nervous system in maintaining good health and leveraging the recuperative power of the body to heal itself naturally and efficiently.

Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the structure of the spine, its function as coordinated by the nervous system, and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. Chiropractors identify and correct the cause of health challenges which arise when misalignments of the vertebrae occur.  This is known as a subluxation, and it disrupts neurological communications between your brain and the cells, tissues, and organs of the body.

Chiropractors correct these misalignments by gently adjusting the position of the vertebrae of the spine, reducing or eliminating neuropathy (changes in the pathology of the nerves) thus allowing your body to properly self-regulate, adapt and heal.

Training

Becoming a Chiropractor involves over 5 years of extensive University  study into body function, physiology, neurology, biomechanics, diagnostic sciences, nutrition and exercise.  As a result, my depth of knowledge and experience means I incorporate wellness and healthy living in my general chiropractic care.
